Returns and Exchange Policy

Items purchased from Earthchild may be returned or exchanged at any Earthchild branch within 30 days from purchase, provided that the original invoice or gift receipt is presented on return as proof of purchase, the price (swing) ticket is attached, the item has not been worn or used, the item is in its original condition and packaging, items sold with promotional gifts are returned together with the gift, and the item is returned in the country of purchase.

No returns of underwear or gift cards will be permitted. Swimwear must have the protective strip attached.

In-store Purchases

Earthchild will allow a full refund in the original method of tender, or process a credit on your Truworths account, provided that the conditions set out in the Returns and Exchange Policy section above are met.

The credit card holder and relevant card must present for a credit card refund.

No refund can be processed in the case of a gift receipt being presented, unless the original invoice is presented at the same time.

Online Purchases

Earthchild makes every effort to ensure that you will be satisfied with your purchase, however we recognise that in certain cases items may need to be returned, and we will gladly do so provided that the conditions set out in the Returns and Exchange Policy section above are met.

With every order we ship, we include a merchandise- or gift receipt along with an online returns form. Please keep your receipt to facilitate your mail return/exchange, and follow the below instructions to return your purchase by mail.

For online purchases returned directly, a refund will be processed, if your return is received within 30 days of purchase.

To Return Your Online Purchase

Refund or Exchange via Post Office

Simply email efloris@truworths.co.za to request to return items. Fill in the online returns form you will receive with your online package - please make sure you fill in all the required fields. Pack your return securely, and clearly mark and address your parcel to:

Drop your parcel off at your nearest Post Office and email your tracking number to efloris@truworths.co.za

Please note that packages must be returned prepaid - we do not accept COD deliveries.

Return or Exchange in Store

Within 30 days of your delivery, simply take the products you purchased and your invoice (printed forms that came with your parcel) to one of our Earthchild stores countrywide. We will gladly accept unworn, not yet washed merchandise, provided that the conditions set out in the Returns and Exchange Policy section above are met.

You will be issued with a credit or receive a refund for returns. Should you want to exchange a garment for a different size, granted that the store has stock of the particular item, we will gladly assist.

Defective Merchandise

Merchandise with material manufacturing faults will gladly be credited or exchanged provided that:

1. Such merchandise is returned to Earthchild within six (6) months of having taken delivery.

2. You can provide proof of purchase.

3. The merchandise is returned within the country of purchase.

4. The merchandise has been used for its intended purpose.

5. The item has been cared for according to the wash/care instruction label.

6. Earthchild sent you the incorrect online garment.

For defective merchandise purchased online and returned via the Post Office, Earthchild will gladly refund shipping charges, if the criteria above are met.
